Backup your Running Tracker database
Did you know that it is possible to backup your Running Tracker database ?
Imagine: you bought your Nike+iPod kit 6 months ago. You run twice a week. After each workout, you import the file in Running Tracker and write some comments… but one day, you need to change your computer !
Backup your Running Tracker database and you won’t have any problem.
It’s actually quite easy:

What’s new in Running Tracker 0.4.1 ?
- Support of the new Nike+ file format (version 5)
- Improvement of the way Running Tracker connects to the NikePlus website to import workouts
Nike+ update news
I have analyzed the new format (version 5) of the XML files generated by the Nike+iPod device and it looks like only few things have changed.
The function that permits to import the workouts directly from the NikePlus website needs to be slightly modified.
Hopefully, I will be able to release a new version in the coming days. I will keep you posted.
Nike+ update
The format of the XML files generated by the Nike+iPod kit has changed.
Following features may not work anymore:
- Import workouts from the NikePlus website
- Import workouts from the iPod Nano
I am currently working on a new version of Running Tracker that will handle this new format.
